Over the past 6+ years the MySoil team has used DIY PDDG for new lawns, overseeding, and every seeding project in between. Revenge GLX II Perennial Ryegrass: Revenge GLX shows excellent spring green up and exhibits excellent performance during the winter. Revenge GLX also shows great resistance to gray leaf spot. Some additional attributes include, dark green genetic color, fine leaf texture, and excellent year- round density to crowd out weeds.
Top Gun II Perennial Ryegrass: Top Gun II shows Excellent wear tolerance under high traffic, good winter performance, Dark genetic color and Great density during the fall and winter months while providing excellent color and leaf texture. Top Gun II has also shown good resistance to pythium blight and brown patch.
Infusion Perennial Ryegrass: Infusion has a dark genetic color, year-round density to crowd out weeds, good traffic tolerance, excellent seedling vigor and shows excellent tolerance to gray leaf spot and crown rust.
Award Kentucky Bluegrass: AWARD is an elite bluegrass that performs well with close mowing heights below 1″. It performs well from the transition zone to alpine climates. United StatesGet the best lawn in your neighborhood!
I renovated my lawn this year and killed off 7,000 square feet at the beginning of August and worked tirelessly through that month to prep the soil and level it. I planted September 1st and I have to say this whole process could not have turned out better and we could not be happier with the results! This is by far the best lawn I’ve experienced seeing in person and I have had nothing but compliments and questions about it! Tonight during trick or treating I had kids and adults stopping constantly to look and touch the grass which was actually pretty funny! I am cutting it with just a manual Fiskars reel mower at 1” and it looks phenomenal! The grass stripes like nothing else I’ve seen and it is Halloween today and all my neighbors grass is light green and going dormant while mine is still dark green as could be! One more side note- my lawn received so much attention in one month that the mayor of our city noticed it and actually used some really nice photos I took as an example for a speech he gave to a bunch of people. It is a program the city has to help assist the residents if they want to update or do a project to the outside of their house to keep it “up to date” & keep that curb appeal look most of us want. He stated, “use this guys lawn for example. He’s a resident here and decided to renovate his yard and start over. And as you can see the results speak for itself. If I were his neighbor I know I would look at that lawn and want the same for mine or at least strive to get close to it which might be hard because it looks like a golf course!” Anyways I just wanted to share all this because I could not have had a better experience and my lawn is now what a lot of people dream of having and I am so proud of it and cannot thank MySoil enough! Best decision I made this year and would recommend this seed to anyone with a cool season lawn!

I received many compliments on the lawn. I wish I could summit a picture of the lawn so you can see how beautiful dark thick this perennial rye looks. Two thumbs up!!
